Leroy Merlin has opened its new Building Materials Center in Marghera (VE), near Venice: a space of over 1,700 square meters entirely dedicated to the construction industry.

The opening of the new Building Materials Center is the second step in a journey that began 3 years ago with the creation of the adjacent supply chain and will be completed with the complete reorganization of the Marghera store (scheduled to open on May 7, 2025), confirming Leroy Merlin’s commitment to investing in the area and becoming an increasingly important reference point, able to offer a wide range of products and services for construction, design, building, renovation, renewal and energy efficiency of homes.

The Marghera Building Center spans over 1,700 square meters and caters to both professionals and DIY enthusiasts, offering a vast range of products at VAT-inclusive prices. The Center is open year-round, including during the summer. The Building Center provides a multitude of services, making it a unique reference point in the area: from drive-through product pick-up, allowing for loading with cars, vans, and large vehicles, to delivery services, turnkey installations and renovations, equipment rental, rental of vehicles for bulky transport, and telephone sales with a quick 2-hour click-and-collect service directly at the Building Center. Moreover, unlike other specialized building materials retailers, 1,000 square meters of the Building Center are covered, ensuring a storage and display area for materials and products, protected from humidity, weather, pollution, and other external factors.

The range of products available in the Building Center is extensive: building materials (plasterboard, bricks), premixed and pre-dosed powders from the best brands, equipment (ladders, concrete mixers), thermal and acoustic insulation, fuels (pellets available year-round), wooden boards and battens for carpentry, polycarbonate coverings, (PVC, metal and bitumen) waterproofing products, outdoor flooring, edging, curbs, gravel, nets, fences and gates.

On the occasion of the opening, Leroy Merlin has launched a promotion, valid until November 11th, offering a 10% discount on a minimum purchase of €100 on building products for Homy customers, even without a VAT number.
